Song of the Day: Little Wing

Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix. Released in December of 1967 on his second studio album Axis: Bold as Love. If there was one song in the world that I could chose to be longer, I might just pick this one. Only 2 minutes and 25 seconds but it features some of Hendrix’s best guitar playing and even some of his best vocals too. This song honestly just seems like a tease because the song just feels like it’s getting started and then before you know it, it’s done. But still the song has such a good groove and the guitar playing is some of Jimi’s best.
