Song of the Day: Electric Rodeo

Awwwwww yeaaaaaaa!!! We are back with a video game hit on this Friday. I had to go with arguably my favorite NASCAR game…NASCAR 07 and Shooter Jennings with, “Electric Rodeo”. I always felt like this game was reviewed way worse than it should’ve been. iRacing wasn’t a thing yet and I did not really play on the PC so I never got a realistic experience until iRacing years later…but I always liked the gameplay on NASCAR 07. The Nextel push buttons were cool and the career modes were great too. This soundtrack was also very spot on with the way the game played, EA Sports usually did a great job with selecting music that matched their games. Breaking Benjamin and Trace Adkins were other notable artists featured on this one. Elliott Sadler was on the cover and I was a major Dale Jarrett fan growing up, so I liked the fact Yates Racing was featured instead of the usual Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr and Tony Stewart rotation that were featured seemingly every other year. Shooter is most well-known as being Waylon’s son, but he killed it with the Electric Rodeo. I hope you enjoy this one I want to leave you with this…you MUST check in this weekend to the North Wilkesboro races…Truck race on Saturday at 1PM and there will be some heat races later that evening and Cup Racing all afternoon on Sunday. I am so excited for NASCAR to be coming back to Highway 115 or 421, whichever way you are coming from, but even though I will not be in attendance, I do plan to go in the future, because it isn’t going anywhere now.
