Song of the Day: Back to New Orleans

I featured a blues tune from Elvis last week. This week I’m featuring a blues tune from Lightnin’ Hopkins. This song popped up on my playlist not too long ago and it has been a while since I have heard it. I hit repeat a couple times on. It just has a nice pace and it is a really catchy song. The song’s release date isn’t exactly clear. Hopkins was born and raised in Texas and is one of the most popular Texas and Country blues artists of all time. I hope you all have a great day and I hope all of the dads out there have a great Father’s Day.
