Song of the Day: Cherokee Fiddle

Happy Friday everyone! Today, I wanted to entertain you all with a classic country song named, “Cherokee Fiddle” by Johnny Lee. This is another one of the many songs I remember listening to on rural radio stations driving and riding around as a kid. Released in 1982, “Cherokee Fiddle” made it to #10 on the US Country charts and it just screams 80’s country. To me, it seems this song is about someone who wasn’t cut out to make it to the big-time country “stage” but either way, he was a great musician who needs to be remember.
