Best Bets of the Day (March 24th)
We had a couple of duds yesterday with the New Jersey Devils and the Tennessee spread, but the Caitlin Clark under hit and I was proud of that. Tennessee had no business keeping the game that close, however, they did. They were fortunate to not be playing a great team after their abysmal 3-25 shooting effort beyond the arc. The Devils had no shot from the start, but I definitely knew the risk before placing the bets. Today, I have a good mix for you today between NASCAR, NHL, and NCAA Tournament action. I don’t really like a lot of the betting opportunities today, but there is plenty of action to go around today.

Austin Cindric Top 10 Finish (+130)
I love this pick in the NASCAR race today. Austin Cindric is one of the better road course racers in all of NASCAR and he has underdog odds for a Top 10 today? I will take that all day long. He finished 6th in last year’s race at COTA and 8th in 2022. The level of competition at road course has gotten stronger over the last couple of year due to the fact that the Cup Series races more at road courses, but I don’t think that will hold Austin Cindric out of the Top 10 today.

James Madison (ML) (+235) vs. Duke
This is definitely my riskiest pick of the day, but I think it has a good chance of happening. James Madison is a high-octane, aggressive team and they’re looking to make a big run, just like I predicted the other night when I picked their ML win against Wisconsin. Duke was bailed out by the fact that Vermont just forgot how to score in the last 5 minutes of the game, literally. This Duke team just isn't good enough to make a run. They don’t play well as a team, they just have a lot of talent. James Madison plays well as a team and I think they will leave no shred of doubt about that this afternoon.

Tampa Bay Lightning (-1.5) (+102) vs. Anaheim Ducks
The Lightning have hammered the puck line as of late. They are 6 straight against the spread and I think they have a great shot to make it 7 in a row tonight. John Gibson is in the crease for the Ducks and he’s had his struggles all season long as have the Ducks, but I am a little concerned about the Lightning’s goalie situation. Jonas Johansson is currently the projected netminder for Tampa tonight and he hasn’t seen action is a while. His last start was on February 25th against the Devils. He had a good game, but still, it is a while without a start. He shouldn’t have many issues tonight with the Ducks and I don’t think the Lightning will have many issues finding the net tonight.
