Happy Monday to everyone! The Sports Chief is back with free DFS tips. Tonight’s slate is one of the largest we have seen in recent memory, as there will be 11 games being played. This month is coming to an end, and pretty soon we will be starting up March Madness as well. Good luck to everyone tonight!

I will be going with a player I do no pick often, but I will be choosing LeBron James tonight at $11,200. Upon returning from injury, LeBron has been averaging 60.6 DK points per game. Not only has he been filling up the stat sheet in multiple categories, he is taking over 20 shots in his last two appearances. Memphis is a team that is tanking and the Lakers need this win badly, so expect King James to put on a show in Memphis. Sticking with this game, I also like Jonas Valanciunas at $6,400 and Delon Wright at $3,800 for the Grizzlies. Jonas had a great showing in his last outing with 25 points and 11 rebounds. He is one of the few reliable sources of offense for the Grizzlies and I don’t expect JaVale McGee to slow him down. Delon Wright is a big guard who has been getting quality minutes. Mike Conley looks like he is going to play tonight, but look for Wright to play sixth-man minutes.

Bagley gif.gif

Marvin Bagley III has been getting a lot of run since the all-star break. By playing 30+ minutes and taking 18+ shots in each of their last two games…I see Bagley putting on a show against the T’Wolves front court. His price tag is at $6,500 and the value is immense with Bagley. On the other side, I will be going with Dario Saric at $4,600. Saric has been named the starting Power Forward for Minnesota and is an offensive minded big. Both Bagley and Saric aren’t great defensively and this played a part in my decision.

Monk Gif.gif

The bargain choice of the night will be Malik Monk of the Charlotte Hornets. Monk is priced at $3,700 and to be honest…there aren’t a lot of good statistical arguments you can make for playing him. My reasoning is that I believe Golden State will take a good lead on the Hornets and Monk will get good playing time. Monk is a great scorer, so the Hornets may need his court presence to contend.

That will do it for our Monday DFS preview. Another player who I really wanted to roll out was Nikola Mirotic at $5,400. Giannis may be out, and Mirotic will pick up some of his slack, but went with the combo of Saric and Markkanen instead. Check us out on Twitter @thesportschief and hit us up for some questions, comments, or anything we cover as much as we can.
