Why Becky Lynch Will Not Appear on RAW Tonight
Tonight’s episode of RAW is the most anticipated show in a long time. Roman Reigns will appear tonight to give an update on his medical situation, which I am anxious to hear about. And perhaps the biggest storyline crutch, pun intended, will be Ric Flair’s 70th Birthday Celebration. Today is actually his birthday and the event is expected to draw a lot of attention.

We don’t know everyone that is confirmed for the event, but many are led to believe that The Man will make an appearance. The popular belief is that Ric Flair’s daughter, Charlotte, will make an appearance on RAW tonight, thus attracting Becky Lynch to the celebration. I firmly believe that will not happen tonight. I think Charlotte may be in attendance, but Lynch will not interrupt. Unless Ric decides to invite Lynch to his celebration, she will not show up. At this point in their storyline, why would Ric invite Lynch, knowing his daughter will be there? He wouldn’t. Another thing worth pointing out is the possibility of Becky sabotaging the event in some way. Perhaps attacking the 16-time World Champ? That isn’t going to happen. Attacking someone with the legendary status of Ric Flair would spoil nearly every shred of momentum that she has built to this point. It just doesn’t make sense to have her attack him, because it will certainly set her back. Would I be interested if she shows up? Yes. Is there a possibility that it happens? Yes, but I think there are better ways to utilize her and I think that the WWE would be foolish to bring her in to crash the party.

If Becky isn’t going to show up, what will happen at the party? There has to be a reason other than Ric Flair celebrating a birthday, right? I think they have something planned, but it will not involve Lynch. We don’t know everyone confirmed, but we do know that Triple H is likely to be in the middle of the event, because he said he would be.
There is also another WWE legend that is rumored to come to the celebration and that legend is none other than the man who retired him from WWE, Shawn Michaels. The Heartbreak Kid has been working closely with the NXT UK superstars recently and had this to say about Flair’s celebration.
Does this meaning anything? You bet it does. But what is going to happen? I heard a certain scenario the other day and I feel like this is something that will definitely happen tonight. If you guys remember correctly, on the 1000th episode of SmackDown Live, there was a certain reunion that happened on the show. This was the assembly of the mega-stable Evolution. Back in October; Randy Orton, Triple H, Ric Flair, and Batista reunited to have a special moment, reliving the accomplishments of the group. The segment ended with tension between Triple H and Batista. Triple H is already confirmed to be on the show, so I am convinced that Batista will make a surprise appearance in Atlanta tonight. If Triple H is cleared for action, then this should initiate the beginning of their WrestleMania feud.
So, how does Shawn Michaels factor into this? It is very simple. He will be the guest referee for their bout at MetLife Stadium on April 7th. At this point, I cannot think of a better way to set up for the match between the two, because they obviously were foreshadowing a future match back in October. With only six more weeks until WrestleMania 35, this would be the perfect amount of time to build up the match and should provide ample entertainment. If Triple H is healthy, I would think that he can still provide a good match and the same goes for Batista.

For those of you concerned about the status of The Man, don’t fret. Becky Lynch should be inserted back into the main event of WrestleMania within a couple of weeks, but I think it is doubtful that she will be a factor in tonight’s birthday celebration for the Nature Boy.
