AEW's Fight for the Fallen Predictions
AEW is having another PPV event before All Out tonight and it should be another action-packed show. This event is taking place in Jacksonville, Florida at the Daily’s Place Amphitheater, which is located at the Jacksonville Jaguars’ TIAA Bank Field. There are 9 matches on the show including Buy In matches, so there should be plenty to take away from the show. Here are my predictions for Fight for the Fallen and if haven’t seen it already, we are giving away 2 tickets to All Out next month. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this chance, so click here to enter. All you have to do is follow us and retweet.

*Match card is likely not in the correct order
- Men’s Singles Match
Sonny Kiss vs. Peter Avalon (w/Leva Bates)
This will be the first time that both Peter Avalon and Sonny Kiss are featured in a singles match. I don’t really know a bunch about either competitor, but I do know that The Librarians seem to be the jobbers of AEW at the moment. Leva Bates put on an entertaining match with Allie at Fyter Fest, so I expect about the same out of Avalon. I think Sonny Kiss gets the win here.
- Women’s Tag Team Match
Britt Baker and Riho vs. Bea Priestley and Shoko Nakajima
Priestley and Nakajima are both making their AEW debut tonight against the star-studded team of Britt Baker and Riho. In this match, I’m interested to see Bea Priestley in action. I’ve heard great things about her and I think this match will be pretty good heading into the main portion of the program. We have seen enough from Britt Baker and Riho to know that they are going to be pushed from here until the weekly program starts, so I think they’ll pick up the win here.
- Men’s Tag Team Match
SoCal Uncensored vs. Lucha Brothers
I’m thinking that this will be the opener because I think it has that kind of potential. We’ve seen the Lucha Brothers face The Elite and The Young Bucks on separate occasions, but this time they’re going up against Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian. I really like what I’ve seen out of both teams on the two AEW PPV’s I’ve watched, but I think Lucha Bros have the edge here. Look for them to be one of the favorites to become the first AEW Tag Team Champions.
- Women’s Singles Match
Brandi Rhodes vs. Allie
I’m interested to see Brandi Rhodes finally compete on an AEW show. Allie made her AEW debut at Fyter Fest against Leva Bates and looked impressive, so hopefully she will carry that momentum over to this match. If they tell a good story in the ring tonight, I think this could be up for consideration for match of the night, but we’ll see how it goes. I’m expecting a good match though. I think at this point, getting Allie over is more important than Brandi winning in her debut and that is the reason why I chose Allie to get the win tonight.
- 3-Way Tag Team Match
The Dark Order vs. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus vs. Angélico and Jack Evans
This match could go a number of ways. The Dark Order has appeared after tag team matches in the last two PPVs and I think they have the momentum in the creative department here. Although their appearances have been very random and unexplained, I think they will get the nod in this contest. In all honesty though, I think any team in this contest can legitimately win. Jungle Boy was impressive in his 4-Way match at Fyter Fest and Luchasaurus was impressive at Double or Nothing, so I think they have a good chance in this one. Angelico and Jack Evans appeared in a match at Double or Nothing, but lost to Best Friends. I think this will be a very entertaining matchup.
- Men’s Singles Match
Adam Page vs. Kip Sabian
I think we’ll see another match here to get Adam Page more momentum heading into his match with Chris Jericho at All Out. Kip Sabian looked impressive at Double or Nothing against Sammy Guevara, so I expect more of the same in this one. Hangman Page is clearly what AEW is looking for in terms of rising talent and I think he could be the face of the company in a couple years. I’m excited for his match at All Out, but I think this one could be a great momentum getter for the cowboy
- 6-Man Tag Team Match
Jimmy Havoc, Darby Allin, and Joey Janela vs. MJF, Sammy Guevara, and Shawn Spears
I really don’t know how this match will be settled, but there clearly is a lot of tension with Shawn Spears and MJF, so I think this will be a classic story of two wrestlers not on the same page screwing themselves out of a chance to win the match. All wrestlers in this match have competed at an AEW PPV except Shawn Spears. Spears appeared at Fyter Fest to give a chair shot to the head of Cody and it was followed with a lot of controversy. I think we’ll see the tension on display in this contest and it will cost the team a victory.
- Men’s Singles Match
Kenny Omega vs. Cima
This should be a fun matchup. Omega and the leader of Strong Hearts will square off in this one and it has a main event caliber feel to it. I don’t think it will end the show, but it definitely has big match potential. Their styles complement each other and I think they could set up something special for the main event. Kenny Omega is the guy in AEW, so don’t expect him to take the L in this match.
- Men’s Tag Team Match
Cody and Dustin Rhodes vs. The Young Bucks
This will definitely be the main event, but many are expecting the brothers to take the win here. I don’t think it’s going to happen. It looked as if Double or Nothing was going to be Dustin Rhodes’ final match of his career, but Cody asked him to fight in one more match. Wrestlers almost always go out with a loss and I don’t think this scenario will be any different. I’m expecting an excellent match and I will genuinely be disappointed if this isn’t the match of the night. We don’t know for sure if this is Dustin’s last match, but I think the writing is on the wall. I think Dustin will take the pin and end his career tonight.
