Holiday by Green Day. This song right here is just straight middle school. Released in 2005 on arguably Green Day’s biggest hit album, American Idiot. The album went on to sell more than 6 million copies in the US alone and featured other hit songs like American Idiot, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, and Wake Me Up When September Ends. Green Day has been around since the early 90s and are still active today, but this album was definitely the height of the band’s success.
