Song of the Day: Wichita Lineman

Happy Friday and May 1st folks! The return to normalcy is hopefully soon and I have had a song that has been in the back of my head for quite some time. Glen Campbell is a country music icon and “Wichita Lineman” is a great song for today’s times. It was released officially in October of 1968. This is another hit that I would have in my ultimate late night/cruising radio list. I can honestly say…I do not know what type of life a lineman in the 60’s had, but Glen tells it pretty well in this song. Dig into this great piece of Americana and keep your heads up folks.
