Song of the Day: When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold Again

Happy Friday everyone out there! Today, I am going to dedicate this song to Yacs. He is an avid Elvis fan and knows more about the King than anyone on The Sports Chief. The song that I went with is “When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold Again”. One thing to note about this song is that it was actually written in 1940…first recorded in 1941…and even though a few Folk artist performed it…of course…Elvis Presley made it big. He released it on his Elvis record in 1956, which happened to be Elvis’ 2nd album. Elvis was on the RCA Victor label at the time. If you notice…he sang a lot of country songs on this release…but added a different flare to all of them. Enjoy this “lesser” known Elvis hit and Yacs, I hope you enjoy it! Have a great weekend folks!
