Song of the Day: Hard to Forget

Happy Friday folks! Toady’s song of the day is by Sam Hunt and it is entitled, “Hard To Forget”. I have to be honest…I don’t know much about Sam Hunt, but this one is pretty unique. I like the intro of having Webb Pierce singing “There Stands the Glass”. To me, it gives quite the fake-out, but to me it’s a pretty catchy tune. Sam also doesn’t have those obvious references to Cash, Hank, Willie or Waylon…he picks freaking Webb Pierce and that is AWESOME! One fun fact about Sam is that he used to be a D1 QB at UAB from 2005-2007. This single was released March 20th of this year and has been as high as 26 on the Billboard Hot 100.
