Song of the Day: Rocky Mountain Rangers

Happy Friday everyone! Today’s song of the day is by Colter Wall and is off of one of his newer albums Western Swing & Waltzes And Other Punchy Songs. This particular album was released on August 28th of this year and the song I picked is entitled, “Rocky Mountain Rangers”. I have featured Colter before and his style is like a blast from the past. One interesting thing about this song is that it is about a militia in 1885 that were located in Northwest Canada called…The Rocky Mountain Rangers. Colter is a native of Canada by the way. With the fall time coming up…this seems like the perfect song to listen to with your cup of coffee…in front of the fireplace with the wood crackling in the cabin…while your record player plays this punchy song.
