Song of the Day: Pneuma
Pnuema by Tool. Let’s just start off by saying I have no clue how to pronounce the title of this song (Knew-Ma???) Pneuma was the 2nd song and the 2nd single released by the band’s latest album that released basically a year ago on August 30, 2019 (Remember how normal everything was then?) That album, Fear Inoculum, went to number 1 on the charts due to the very loyal fan base that the band has and the fact that it was the first album the band released in 13 years. Funny thing is I do remember this album going to number 1 in charts at the time because it beat out Taylor Swift’s Lover album and a bunch of her fans were upset. I never listened to Tool much but I enjoy a few of their song and if I had to describe them, they are almost like a hard rock Pink Floyd. Their songs are sagas. In the words of our long lost friend, Randy, who is too good for The Sports Chief, “if you don’t like Tool you’re a tool.”
