Song of the Day: Tippa My Tongue

Tippa My Tongue by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Released just last Friday, you may be thinking that Tippa My Tongue is just another single being released from their April album Unlimited Love, but in fact it is actually the first single from their upcoming album, Return of the Dream Canteen. Believe it or not, they are actually releasing another album in October. You almost never see this being done in this day and age but I feel like it happened a lot more often in the 60s and 70s. Led Zeppelin released Led Zeppelin I and Led Zeppelin II both in 1969, and in that same year Creedance Clearwater revival released three albums with Bayou Country, Green River, and Willy And The Poor Boys. October 14th is the official release date for RHCP’s new album.
