Song of the Day: Mule Train

Happy Friday everyone! Today, I thought we should go back to November of 1949. Tennessee Ernie Ford is an American classic artists, that sang folk and county music, as well as gospel. He had a great vocal range and sand a lot of fun songs. The song, “Mule Train” was written around 1947 or so and Tennessee Ernie put it on the Billboard charts at number 10. Lots of other artists covered this one, but I really like Tennessee Ernie Ford’s style, so I may be a little biased in saying that this is the best version.
